Glenford Construction Ltd is looking for someone to join the team as Site Logistics Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Leicester and offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the position.
The role will involve supporting construction, maintenance or site activity while working safely and to the required standard. You will coordinate with colleagues, follow site procedures and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
They are looking for someone dependable, organised and willing to take responsibility for their work. Strong communication, a positive attitude and either relevant experience or good transferable skills will be valued.
What you will do
- Coordinate deliveries, access and material movements across a busy construction site.
- Carry out site, trade or support duties safely and in line with the required standard.
- Prioritise tasks, keep relevant information up to date and follow through on agreed actions.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, clients or other stakeholders as required.
- Follow company procedures, quality standards and any relevant health, safety or confidentiality requirements.
What we are looking for
- Relevant experience or strong transferable skills suitable for a Site Logistics Coordinator position.
- A safety-conscious, practical approach and the ability to follow instructions and quality standards.
- Able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and ask for support when needed.
- Professional and reliable, with a positive approach to working with other people.
- Willing to learn the company systems, processes and standards required for the role.
It would be helpful if you also have
- Previous experience in construction or a similar working environment.
- Experience using relevant workplace systems, software or tools.
- A proactive approach to improving processes, service or day-to-day ways of working.
