Kelbury Care Ltd is looking for someone to join the team as Care Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Leicester and offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the position.

The role will involve supporting people, services or healthcare operations with professionalism, empathy and attention to detail. You will be expected to follow relevant procedures, respect confidentiality and contribute to a safe environment.

They are looking for someone dependable, organised and willing to take responsibility for their work. Strong communication, a positive attitude and either relevant experience or good transferable skills will be valued.

What you will do

  • Support individuals with daily living tasks while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
  • Support service users, patients, colleagues or healthcare operations with care and professionalism.
  • Prioritise tasks, keep relevant information up to date and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, clients or other stakeholders as required.
  • Follow company procedures, quality standards and any relevant health, safety or confidentiality requirements.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant experience or strong transferable skills suitable for a Care Assistant position.
  • A respectful, dependable approach with good communication and awareness of confidentiality.
  • Able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and ask for support when needed.
  • Professional and reliable, with a positive approach to working with other people.
  • Willing to learn the company systems, processes and standards required for the role.

It would be helpful if you also have

  • Previous experience in healthcare or a similar working environment.
  • Experience using relevant workplace systems, software or tools.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes, service or day-to-day ways of working.
