Eldermont Learning Ltd is looking for someone to join the team as Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Leicester and offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the position.
The role will involve supporting learners, staff or education services in a professional and inclusive environment. You will help create a positive experience while following the relevant procedures and safeguarding expectations of the setting.
They are looking for someone dependable, organised and willing to take responsibility for their work. Strong communication, a positive attitude and either relevant experience or good transferable skills will be valued.
What you will do
- Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils who need additional help.
- Support learners, colleagues or education services in a positive and professional way.
- Prioritise tasks, keep relevant information up to date and follow through on agreed actions.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, clients or other stakeholders as required.
- Follow company procedures, quality standards and any relevant health, safety or confidentiality requirements.
What we are looking for
- Relevant experience or strong transferable skills suitable for a Learning Support Assistant position.
- A professional, patient and supportive approach when working with learners, staff or education services.
- Able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and ask for support when needed.
- Professional and reliable, with a positive approach to working with other people.
- Willing to learn the company systems, processes and standards required for the role.
It would be helpful if you also have
- Previous experience in education or a similar working environment.
- Experience using relevant workplace systems, software or tools.
- A proactive approach to improving processes, service or day-to-day ways of working.
